Birthed in Lagos and raised by the internet, Black Molue is a
multidisciplinary design studio rooted in parody, nostalgia, and
storytelling. Through founder and Creative Director Temitope Efuwape’s
interest in design, art, literature and popular culture, Black Molue
has carved a path that translates into high-quality,
conversation-starting streetwear, wall art, home goods, and events.

At its core, Black Molue is about people, culture past and present, as
well as the attitudes that shape them. Each collection reimagines our retro
experiences through eclectic designs, and meticulous craftsmanship, framed
by creativity and uncompromising attention to detail. Our work thrives
in the in-between; where parody meets critique, chaos is shaped by craft,
and a Lagos conductor and global design theorist share the same seat.

With its clean but disruptive, graphics-driven approach, Black Molue draws
inspiration from Nigerian street culture, vintage aesthetics, and the visual
noise of our collective pastiche to create pieces that feel at once familiar
          yet completely new.
